Sustainability and traceability

Lyocell is produced at an award-winning sustainable mill based in Portugal which has a focus on natural and regenerated fibres. Lyocell is a regenerated cellulose fibre made from natural raw material wood sourced from responsibly managed forests and produced with 50% fewer carbon emissions and water consumption than generic lyocell fibres. It is made using a closed loop production process which recovers 99.8% of solvent. The fibre is produced in Portugal where the clothing is also manufactured, at a female owned atelier, thereby minimising adverse environmental impacts caused by transportation.
